TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS
Standards:
CE CERTIFICATION - The Segura Airbag body protector was tested and certified by the CRITT Sport Loisirs laboratory, property of the Alienor Certification 86 Chatellerault organisation that certifies protective equipment. Airbags are considered personal protection equipment (PPE)

Regulations:
In the EEC, the Segura Airbag body protector can only be worn in competitions when paired with a body protector that meets current standards, currently BETA level 3, CE EN 13158:2009.
Adjustment:
It is vital that your equipment is worn properly and well adjusted to fit you to ensure the body protector inflates in the event of a fall. The adjustable strap (to which the elastic strap attaches with a snap hook, connecting you to the body protector) must be attached to the stirrup bars.
The strap is fitted with a D-ring to attach to the snap hook on the elastic strap, along with two adjustable buckles that must go through the stirrup bars.
Adjustment
The Segura Airbag should always be worn over the rest of your riding equipment. Wearing clothing on top may prevent the airbag from opening and slow the inflation time.
Warning:
The protector is suitable for people weighing more than 30kg. An airbag protector should not be worn cinched, as this risks over-compression of the protector's inflation while falling.
The Segura body protector should be worn over all clothing.
Using compatible cartridges with the SEGURA body protector:
The airbag protector is sold with a gas cartridge that should be replaced after each inflation.
This body protector should be used with SEGURA-brand cartridges only.
Using cartridges from another brand voids all manufacturer warranties and responsibility.
Care advice
Wash using a slightly damp sponge.
Transport:
Please note: An airbag body protector should never be folded or exposed to high temperatures (e.g., do not store in the back window of a car)
If you will be travelling by plane, please contact your airline regarding any restrictions on the CO2 cartridge in this product.
