RED DOT SETTINGS
Much like a scope, the red dot has adjustment knobs to move the red dot in the sight to get the red dot to line up with the point the bullet will hit. The knobs of the WALTHER red dot are adjustable in 1 MOA increments. This means that each click will move the impact by one MOA (29 mm at 100m or 14.5mm at 50m, and so on)
UNDERSTANDING THE SIZE OF A RED DOT
The size of red dots is usually given in MOA. MOA stands for Minute Of Angle and is equal to 1/60 of a degree. This MOA corresponds with a distance 29mm to a distance of 100m. This means that, for this red dot, the 4 MOA dot completely covers a disc (4 x 29mm= 116mm) at a distance of 100 metres. A cross-multiplication lets you deduce the size of the dot, no matter the distance
