WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE MOTOR ON THE WINDEE ROAD AND THE WINDEE GRAVEL?
Even though the two bikes have the same incredible Fazua Evation motor, the motor's programming is quite different.
When gravel riding on rough terrain, you'll get more assistance with a lower pedalling cadence. The gravel assistance is therefore triggered earlier and with more torque, whereas it would be more linear on the road.
Of course, the gravel bike's many other assets are also there to help you head off-road
GRAVEL or ROAD?
A gravel bike is designed for heading off-road and exploring the trails.
The tyre width (40 for gravel, 30 for road) and the tread pattern play a huge role in the bike's ability to venture off-road. We recommend you switch your bike to tubeless tyres.
The drivetrain will also be different (42 x 11/42 for gravel, vs 44 x 11/34). Smaller increments between gears for road, but a bigger distance with each turn of the pedals for gravel.

FRAME & FORK
100% carbon frame and fork. Carbon fibre is best known for being light and dynamic, but it's also comfortable. It achieves this by the way that the fibres are positioned and layered.
The Windee is assembled in France
Motor
Fazua Evation motor. The battery and motor sit together in the bike's down tube.
The motor is programmed differently for the gravel and road models. You have 3 pre-set assistance modes. The most economical mode lets you ride for more than 120 km on undulating terrain.
250W/H and 60nm that powers you up to speeds of 25km/h when needed.
WEIGHT AND BATTERY COVER
Weight is really important when bikes are self-powered. But for an electric bike, it is less so. What matters is how the bike behaves, and how long the battery lasts
The full-carbon frame makes the bike light and responsive.
The bike weighs 15 kg with the motor/battery unit.
It is easy to remove the battery and motor and replace the unit with an aluminium cover.
This will save you more than 3 kg
This cover is not supplied with the bike
