Complete and custom formula:
DOG CHOW® Puppy (up to 1 year) with chicken is a feed specially formulated for puppies, containing antioxidants to support their natural defences and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), which is essential for their growth. Also suitable for gestating or lactating female dogs and for small adult dogs.
Quality production:
All our feeds are formulated with select high-quality ingredients, and contain no added artificial preservatives, flavourings or colouring agents.
Our range of formulas are developed using a variety of sources of protein such as chicken, lamb, turkey and salmon.
Recommendations for use:
For puppies aged under 3 months. Divide into 3-4 meals and mix the dry dog food with water to help with chewing.
After the age of 3 months, gradually reduce the amount of water added, and divide the dog's daily intake into 3 meals.
Between the ages of 6 and 12 months, divide between two meals. You can adjust the dog's daily recommended intake depending on its activity level, physical condition and individual requirements.
Directions for use (continued)
When gestating and lactating: During the last 3-4 weeks of the dog's pregnancy and during the first month that it suckles its young, its food intake can be multiplied by a factor of between 1.5 and 2 compared with its usual maintenance intake.
Once the young have been weaned off, adjust the dog's daily intake to keep it in optimal physical condition.
Your dog must always have access to clean, fresh water.

How to implement a transition period when changing formulas
When changing dry food formulas, it is important to implement a transition period over at least 15 days, using the following method:
- The first 5 days: 80% of the old formula + 20% of the new formula.
- The next 5 days: 50% of the old formula + 50% of the new formula.
- The last 5 days: 20% of the old formula + 80% of the new formula.
