WHY IS THERE A NEW VARIO SET
Starting from 2020, our fitting supplier has evolved the design of the hook to ensure pannier racks are compatible with electric bikes housing a battery. The tooth is shorter and the spacing of screws holes differs.
Starting from spring 2021, our pannier bags will be fitted with this new hook.
There are now subsequently 2 VARIO ATTACHMENT SETS that are unfortunately not interchangeable.
THE COMPATIBILITY OF THIS SET WITH YOUR BAG
It is quite simple to check if this Set is compatible with your bags.
- If your bag is equipped with GREY coloured hooks, then this set is COMPATIBLE and MUST BE used.
- If your bag is equipped with BLACK coloured hooks, then this kit is NOT COMPATIBLE and MUST NOT BE used. In this case, you have to order the SET with the product reference 8538529.
