How to adjust your walking poles?
Hold the poles with your arms bent at a right angle. To adjust them: unscrew the middle section beneath the lower section ring, adjust to the desired height (in cm), and screw back on firmly but not too tight . Do the same with the lower section. NEVER GO OVER THE "STOP LINE" or the pole may break during use.
Directions for use
Before leaving: always check that your poles are well tightened.
When descending, or other intense mountain outings, for example, you can lengthen your poles.
When walking downhill, it's best to remove the strap so the pole won't get in your way if you fall.
Care tips
Maintaining your poles properly enable you to maintain optimal function and increases their lifespan.
After use, if water has got into the pole, take the parts apart and allow to dry. Clean any dust and mud with water or without, with a soft brush or paintbrush.
Once dry, you can reassemble the parts. We recommend that you do not try to oil or grease them.
NEVER FORGET SAFETY...
For off-piste hiking, make sure you are equipped with maps, a compass and/or GPS and carry an Avalanche Victim Detector, a shovel and a probe. These three pieces of equipment allow you to be found if you are caught in an avalanche, or look for a victim. And do not forget to revise your security basics.
