thick single-component polyurethane
developed especially
for marine environments.
It polymerises under the action of
the humidity in the air to form an
elastomer.

low flame spread rating
in accordance with standards
set by the International
Maritime Organisation (IMO).

How to apply
Surface preparation
The surfaces must be clean,
dry and free from any grease or
dust.
Cut the nozzle to
the desired dimensions and apply
the product by turning the key provided. Avoid
trapping any air.
Do not apply Sikaflex
-291i
at temperatures below
+ 10°C or at temperatures that exceed + 40°C.
The optimum temperature for the
substances and the adhesive must be
between +15°C and +25°C.

Chemical resistance
Sikaflex
-291i is highly resistant to
prolonged contact with fresh water,
salt water and water-based
cleaning solutions. It
is resistant to temporary contact with
fuels, mineral oils,
vegetable and animal fats.
Sikaflex
-291i is not resistant to
organic acids,
alcohols, alkaline solutions
or solvents. This information
