It is essential to comply with the regulations in force for shooting and controlling birds in the crow family (carrion crows and rooks): rules may vary on a regional or local basis. It is therefore the shooter's responsibility to contact the relevant local authority or shooting body in order to find out the species and dates for which controlling birds in the crow family (corvids) is permitted with a view to obtaining the necessary authorisation.
