Who is this product for?
The Babolat Storm was designed for beginning and intermediate players who play padel occasionally and are looking to enjoy their games and improve quickly. It's a comfortable, lightweight model that's perfect for a first-timer. Easy to use and versatile, you'll love its comfort.
Balance:Medium (265 mm)
This is the racket balance point, measured in millimetres from the bottom of the racket handle.
The larger the number (head-heavy balance), the more power and stability you'll get from the racket and the heavier it will feel (even if it's not a heavy racket). However, you'll have to give up some manoeuvrability. The smaller the number (grip biased or handle heavy), the easier the racket will be to handle, but the less power and stability you'll get.
Oversized head
The head size has an impact on the racket's forgiveness and power. The larger the head size, the more powerful and forgiving the racket is. Conversely, the smaller the racket's head size, the greater the feeling of control, but the less powerful and forgiving it will be.
Weight: 345 g +-10 g.
In reality, the weight is measured in grams. Just like the balance point, the weight impacts a racket's swingweight and therefore its manoeuvrability, stability and ability to transfer energy to the ball (power). The heavier the racket, the more power you'll get. Conversely, the lighter the racket, the easier it will be to handle, but the less powerful it will be.
External material: Fibreglass
Fibreglass is the most flexible option for the external material. The more flexible the fibre, the easier the ball will come off the racket and the more comfortable the shot. A less flexible fibre delivers more power to the racket.
Internal material: EVA (soft)
Low-density foam to provide flexibility and elasticity with an excellent ball release and good vibration absorption.
Hybrid Frame Technology
Frame made of carbon and fibreglass in order to get the best from each: the robustness and light weight of carbon, and the flexibility of fibreglass.
