The main features of this hunting waistcoat
The waistcoat has 24 elasticated cartridge holders on the front for 12-, 16- and 20-gauge ammunition. It also has 2 remote control clip holders on either side of the central zip. It has 2 large front fur-lined pockets, a lined game bag on the back and an inside permit pocket.
Reinforced shoulders. Why?
When hunting small game, you sometimes place your folded shotgun (i.e., with the breech block open), on your right or left shoulder. With your hand around the fore-end or the barrels. The fabric of the waistcoat (the brown part) has therefore been reinforced in this area to offer better protection against abrasion and potential rubbing of the weapon on the shoulders when walking or aiming.
Weight and dimensions of the waistcoat
When designing this hunting waistcoat, one factor that guided our teams throughout its development was the need for lightness. If you want to follow your dog and move freely in its element, it is essential to wear clothes that are not heavy. Especially at the start of the season, when temperatures can still be high. This is why this waistcoat weighs just 450 g in size L. Total length: 73 cm (still in size L).
