The EN11353 visibility standard

The effectiveness of this jacket's visibility has been certified by an external Finnish laboratory according to the very demanding EN11353 standard. It guarantees excellent visibility during the day (thanks to the neon yellow) and at night (thanks to the very powerful reflective patches). The standard also requires 360° visibility. You'll be visible to all road users in all conditions.

WARMTH

This is a product's ability to protect from the cold. It depends on the material's thermal resistance and how much air can pass through it. The higher its thermal resistance, the more the product retains the heat produced by the body while cycling.

The main fabric of this RC100 jacket is fleece lined, is almost impermeable to air, and has a thermal resistance of 0.053

CARE TIPS

In the case of mud splashes, we recommend rubbing the back of the fabric with plain soap, fabric against fabric. Standard maintenance advice applies for anything else: Machine wash at 30°C with only a little detergent. Synthetic programme. Turn the garment inside out. Do not add softener. Line dry in a warm, ventilated area. Do not tumble dry.Do not dry clean. Do not bleach. Do not place on a heater to dry.

Fabric breathability RET => 5.13

To see whether a fabric is breathable, we test its evaporative resistance or RET (based on the ISO 11092 standard). The lower its resistance, the more it lets water vapour produced by the body escape, therefore the more breathable it is. • RET <6: extremely breathable, suitable for the most intense workouts

• RET 6 to 12: breathable, designed for moderate exercise

• RET 12 to 20: average breathability, not comfortable for intense exercise

• RET >20: little breathability, unsuitable for exercise
