FCR
The FCR range, which stands for Fast Racer, is the product range that focuses on aerodynamics. It's designed for cyclists for whom every second counts. These products refuse to compromise on performance.
The FCR helmet has been designed to work perfectly with the VR (Road 900) glasses, whose arms will clip neatly onto the helmet.
THE HELMET OF THE PROS
This FCR helmet has been chosen by the DECATHLON AG2R LA MONDIALE professional team for flat or rolling stages.
MIPS
The MIPS system consists of a layer with a low coefficient of friction, which allows for multidirectional movement of 10 to 15 mm during certain angled impacts.
This movement is designed to reduce the rotational force transmitted to the head.
The FCR MIPS is equipped with the MIPS air system, which is the lightest, most ventilated version of MIPS.

SECURITY
Because choosing a helmet is above all for safety reasons, this helmet meets all the most demanding impact standards.
It complies with the European regulation EN1078.
This standard covers the following aspects: construction, including field of vision, shock absorption properties, retention system features including the chinstrap and tightening devices, and marking and information.
Sizes & Weight
FCR
size S: 52-55 cm 260 g
size M: 55-59 cm 300 g
size L: 59-62 cm 350 g
Please note that this helmet features the MIPS system. This system slightly modifies the sizing. If you're at the top end of a size bracket, we recommend getting the next size up.
Ventilation
A helmet's ventilation is optimal when large entrances for air are connected to exits via canals that let the air circulate. The head is an essential component for cooling the body during intensive effort.
The evacuation of the heat generated is thus a priority for maintaining a high level of performance.
VENTILATION AND AERODYNAMICS
Poorly placed ventilation can, on the other hand, generate a great loss of aerodynamic performance by significantly increasing drag.
The FCR air vents have been placed in high pressure zones that do not affect the helmet's aerodynamics.
The 3 inner channels are wide and deep to ensure optimal air flow.
RETURNS CONDITIONS (SPECIFIC TO PPE)
This helmet is an item of PPE (personal protective equipment) and its level of protection will depend on its condition.
We can only accept returns of unused helmets. If this helmet is not right for you, please return it along with the user guide and tags.
HOW LONG HELMETS LAST
Helmets don't last forever. To keep yourself as safe as possible, we recommend changing your helmet at least every 5 to 7 years. It's important to store your helmet in its bag in a cool, dry, dark place.
Extreme temperatures will cause the helmet's foam to deteriorate more quickly.
If your helmet suffers a large impact, it's essential that you change it as there could be internal cracks that would prevent it from working properly.
