The EU regulation 2016/425 applies to physical protection. For this back protector, it is particularly characterised by tests of its shock absorption abilities with impact testing according to standard EN1621-2 level 1.

To choose the size of your protective gilet, here is a recommended sizing correspondence table based on your child's height (chest diameter is given as a reference):
Size 6 years = 115 to 124 cm (Chest 58-61 cm)
Size 8 years = 124 to 133 cm (Chest 61-64.5 cm)
