Standard EN 14450 S1
This cabinet meets the requirements of European Standard EN 14450 S1, which defines the requirements, classification and burglary resistance testing procedures for domestic safes.
This standard guarantees that the security cabinet has been tested and approved (steel, structure, lock, pull-out, etc.) to ensure the slowing down of break in attempts with limited tools.
Caution! This standard is different from that for safes (Standard EN 1143-1).
Quality Control
In order to make sure that our safety cabinets can be fully relied on, we have collaborated with a supplier, working with the world leaders of this field. Based on our plans and requirements, through using their knowledge and skills, as well as their industrial apparatus, we have produced items of exceptional quality.
Security of the lock
The lock on the security cabinet meets the requirements of European Standard EN 1300 class A, which defines the classification of high-security locks, based on their resistance to break-ins (high-precision cast steel, 280,000 possible key combinations; 8-point lock).
This lock is manufactured in Germany.
Caution! The keys cannot be copied.
EN 14450 S1 certification
The VdS laboratory (based in Germany) is one of the most stringent certification bodies in Europe. Using a series of break-in tests, the laboratory audits, approves and certifies that a security cabinet conforms to European Standard EN 14450.
This certifying body is recognised at European level (alongside A2P for example) by insurance companies. This is why we chose this laboratory to certify our safety cabinets.
How to store your guns
Your guns must be stored unloaded, clean and dry. Humidity getting inside the cabinet may lead to the development of rust on some of your guns.
You could add a dehumidifying solution (for example, silica pouches) inside your security cabinet.
The foam inserts delivered with your cabinet will allow you to secure your guns in the stands, avoiding any potential falls.
