How can I be sure that my baby's feet will be kept warm during their sledging activities in the snow?
We selected an insulating lining and filling to keep your kids' feet nice and warm like fur-lined boots.
These warm boots have been tested in an external laboratory according to a thermal resistance protocol compared to other Decathlon baby boots.
How can I be sure that my baby's feet will be kept dry during their sledging activities in the snow?
The boot's vamp (low thermoplastic part) is snowproof. To make the entire boot waterproof so that you can make the most of your activities in the snow, we recommend you put the lower part of your trousers/ski suit over the boot. A hook under the sole helps you to position the elastic on the trousers/ski suit to give good support and therefore a good seal to keep the snow out.
How to choose the right baby snow boot size for my kid?
The fit of these boots has been researched for a baby wearing (thick) ski socks without compressing the foot and therefore encouraging thermal protection.
To choose the right size, it's recommended to measure your kid’s bare foot using the available Decathlon foot scale.
Why do these boots have large openings and straps on top of the snow boots?
These winter boots have been specially designed so that they are extremely easy to put on your baby.
The uppers in sizes C3/C3.5 and C4/C4.5 are open on both sides and can be fully turned back to provide a wide opening for your toddler's foot.
Sizes 5/6 and 7/7.5 are open on one side. A strap gives improved grip on top of the upper for your toddlers seeking independence.
What is the difference between traction and grip?
The boots’ traction depends on the number and shape of the studs (3 mm on this baby boot). The grip is dependent on the materials of the sole and the tread pattern, like the tyres of your car. Traction optimises propulsion, prevents the boot from slipping backwards when going uphill and stabilises the boot.
Grip prevents the boot from slipping and skidding on smooth ground or in demanding conditions (rain, snow, ice) by giving the sole grip.
Where can I write my baby's name on these baby après-ski?
Space on the lining to write your kid’s name and personalise the baby après-ski. A very practical feature for finding their snow boots at the crèche or nursery!
