Optimal flow and a watertight seal thanks to the cap's valve
This flask has a cap specially designed for children. It has a transparent silicone inner valve to reduce the water flow so that it's perfect for a child to use. Plus, it also seals the water outlet when the flask isn't upright, guaranteeing a watertight seal even when the cap is open.
Make sure that this valve is in place and securely in its housing. Otherwise, the bottle will leak.
It is recommended that you remove it to clean your flask.
How to optimise the performance of your Junior isothermal flask
Thermal insulation: starting at 95 °C | after 6 hrs = 64 °C | after 12 hrs = 50 °C | after 24 hrs = 36 °C.
This isothermal bottle has been tested in the lab, according to an experienced protocol by our engineers.
1. Rinse the bottle with boiling water.
2. Fill it completely with water at 95°C. Close it.
3. Leave it in an ambient temperature at 23°C for 24 hours.
4. Measure the drop temperature of the water after 6 hours, 12 hours and 24 hours => see the performances.
How has the insulation of the Junior isothermal bottle been tested?
Be careful when using hot liquids, the flask is extremely well insulated, liquids will remain hot for a long time.
The fuller the bottle is, the better it is at keeping its contents hot or cold.
We use double stainless-steel wall technology with a vacuum between to block thermal exchange via conduction or convection. To block exchange by thermal radiation, a fine layer of copper covers the outside of the inner wall.
What are the tips for using the Junior isothermal flask?
Do not use with fizzy drinks or fatty substances (dairy products, oil etc) or with acidic drinks (fruit juices, energy drinks).
Do not microwave, freeze, or expose to flames.
The cap has a handle to make it easy to carry or for hanging on a backpack with a strap or carabiner.
How do I look after and clean my Junior isothermal flask?
Before first use, wash and rinse the entire product 3 times.
Clean your flask after each use.
For optimal hand-washing and drying:
1. Separate all the elements and fully remove the transparent valve;
2. Hand-wash them with warm soapy water (a fine, delicate brush for getting into the corners);
3. Rinse them in clean water;
4. Leave to dry separately, the cap should remain open when drying.
How do I clean my Junior isothermal flask thoroughly?
The bottle can also be placed in the dishwasher if necessary. Warning: the seal and valve in the cap can come off. Make sure you put it back on if this happens, to ensure your flask remains watertight.
In the event of odours, leave the bottle to soak for a night in a water bottle and vegan bicarbonate.
What are the regulations regarding the materials of the Junior isothermal flask?
Our products and materials meet the food contact standards in force. They do not contain Bisphenol A (BPA) in accordance with the French regulations in force. We have chosen to use 18/8 (304) stainless steel for the flask's body, recognised for its food safety and for the top, a heat and shock resistant polypropylene.
Is the Junior isothermal flask repairable?
Our water bottles are great solutions when going on a hike.
Over time, some parts may wear out or break.
To make it easier to repair, the product is compatible with other caps in the range available individually:
- the 100 in stainless steel (reference 8615551);
- the 500 (reference 8575855) for a more sporty look and use;
- the pipette cap 900 (reference 8359137).
Don't throw away, repair !
