Which balls can you use with this rack?
This rack enables you to position 15 English billiards balls (yellow and red) with a 50.8 mm diameter.
It can also be used on the BT 700 UK billiards table and all standard English billiards tables.
Not suitable with
This rack cannot be used with balls larger than 50.8 mm, like pool balls (57.2 mm) for example. This rack is not suitable for use with the BT 700 US billiards table balls.
We also do not recommend using this rack with smaller balls like the balls used on the BT 100 billiards table or the BT 500 fold-down table (44 mm). The rack will be too large and there will be space between your balls.
How to rack blackball (English billiards) balls 1/2
English billiards is played with a cue ball (impact ball), 7 red balls, 7 yellow balls and 1 black 8 ball. Here is how you correctly rack the balls:
1. Place one red ball at the top of the rack and another underneath it. 2. Add 3 yellow balls at a diagonal, against the two red balls.
3. To the right of the diagonal, place two red balls.
4. Fill the open space with a yellow ball.

5. Then place a red ball in the left angle of the triangle.
6. Set two yellow balls against the red ball you just placed.
7. Repeat the same step with two red balls.
8. Complete the line with your last yellow ball.
9. Finish racking with the black 8 ball.
Now just make sure that your balls are snug against one another, gently remove the rack and break!
Where should you place your rack on the billiards table
You should position your rack so that the black ball is at the intersection of the 2 diagonals formed by the first 4 pockets.
