The skirt is both windproof (up to 10 km/h) and water-repellent (rain water slides off and protects from moisture when seated).
It has many clever pockets: a large pocket, a small secure pocket in the flap and a third secure pocket.
It adjusts to fit different hip shapes thanks to its three-notch adjustment buckle

DRYING IN TUMBLE DRYER POSSIBLE. LOW TEMPERATURE, MAXIMUM DRUM EXHAUST TEMPERATURE 60°C.
IRONING AT A MAXIMUM SOLEPLATE TEMPERATURE OF 110°C. STEAM TREATMENT MAY CAUSE IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE.

TESTS AND WARRANTY
Test product
This leggings skirt has been tested for optimal comfort in outdoor temperatures between 10°C and 15°C. We called on a panel of female testers (composed of customers, ambassadors and partners) to test our leggings skirt on trails by reproducing the conditions you encounter during your hikes in cool weather. At Quechua, we test our products throughout the development process until release.

This leggings skirt was tested and approved in November 2021 by a tester group during a day hike in the uplands of Grenoble - France. Our Quechua design centre is based in Passy, at the foot of Mont Blanc in Haute-Savoie. A real meeting place between our team (designers, product managers, engineers, etc.) and outdoor enthusiasts. This allows us to design high quality hiking products and to put our expertise at your service.

With ecodesign, we reduce the environmental impact of our products.
Analysing the product's environmental footprint enabled us to identify the most impactful stages of its life cycle. Thanks to this approach, our design teams were able to develop this product while significantly reducing its environmental impact.

Textile part made of 54% recycled polyester
We have incorporated recycled polyester into this product (instead of conventional polyester, which is itself derived from petrochemical plastic). What does this mean? In addition to being technical, this product has been designed taking into account its environmental impact: using recycled polyester means recovering and transforming products destined to be thrown away, such as production offcuts or plastic bottles, instead of using new oil resources.

This product is made with recycled polyamide (instead of conventional polyamide). Objective: to use a recovered material, transformed from production scraps or products destined to be thrown away, rather than using new oil resources to reduce the environmental impact of this product. And this, without compromising the technical qualities!

ProcessDope dyed
46% of the fabric color is made by dyeing the yarn at the source
Dyeing textiles requires lots of water but also leads to lots of water waste generated in dyeing vats. To reduce this environmental impact, we choose solution dyeing, which integrates colour pigments when manufacturing the thread.
