COMPONENT WATER REPELLENCY

Waterproofing is a fabric's capacity to prevent penetration of rain water.

A fabric's water repellency is its ability to make water bead and/or run along its surface. The garment soaks up little or no moisture, dries more quickly, and doesn't become heavier. Water repellency can also prevent its outer surface from becoming as dirty, particularly when riding in the mud.

Water repellency is obtained by applying a treatment to the fabric's external surface.

This gilet has been designed with different components to combine breathability and wind protection.

WHY USE A GILET

Speed greatly increases the sensation of cold. This gilet both protects you from cold, particularly when changing pace in XC mountain biking, and from light rain and splashes of mud.
