FOR WHICH ATHLETES?
Maltodextrin powder is designed for all sports enthusiasts (triathletes, marathon runners, trail runners, etc.) exercising for longer than 3 hours. A 34 g dose of maltodextrin should be diluted in 500 mL of water. Maltodextrin must be consumed during the three days before your competition, at a rate of two water bottles a day. With these six sticks, you have what you need to prepare your water bottles for a competition.

MALTODEXTRIN: WHAT IS IT? WHAT IS IT USED FOR?
Maltodextrin comes from the hydrolysis (of a segment) of wheat starch or maize, enabling smaller molecules to be made that are more easily digested by the body.
- Before endurance exercise, maltodextrin helps increase your muscle glycogen reserves.
- During exercise, it is a quick energy source and doesn't make you sick thanks to it its low sugar intensity.
- After endurance exercise, it helps rebuild your glucose reserves.
The DE (dextrose equivalent) of 12 is ideal for endurance.
Maltodextrin is designed to prepare sports enthusiasts who want to do endurance exercise for longer than 3 hours: triathlons, marathons, trail runs, etc*. With a low DE, our maltodextrin is ideal for creating a sufficient reserve of glycogen without repetitive pasta parties.
*Under 2 hours of exercise, you don't need it since your everyday training, nutrition and hydration should normally be enough.

This new version of maltodextrin powder has been made thanks to YOU! Indeed, you found that the exotic fruit flavour was too strong and that this sweetened product was too sweet. "We have therefore used an attenuated natural lemon flavour and removed the sweetener. In this way, two daily water bottles drunk over three days works very well!", explains Mathilde, a hydration product engineer.
TWO SUITABLE FORMATS
- Are you a novice triathlete? Do you just want to taste the new lemon-flavoured formula? You shortly have a race far from home and want to travel light? These six sticks (two a day for three days) are made for you!
- For regular (tri)athletes, the 1 kg format is ideal since it contains the required quantity to prepare for five competitions, at a rate of two water bottles a day during the three days preceding the big day.
WHAT ABOUT DURING A COMPETITION?
During competitions, find ISO and ISO+ drinks that also contain maltodextrin:
• ISO drink is suitable for exercise lasting less than 3 hours. We recommend consuming a 30 g dose in 500 mL of water.
• ISO+ is suitable for exercise lasting 3 hours or more. We recommend that you consume 60 g of carbohydrates per hour of exercise, i.e. one 38 g dose of ISO+ should be dissolved in 500 mL of water, and supplemented by a gel or a bar.
