Construction and steel

This knife has a full-tang construction. This means that the blade and the handle form a single piece. The G10 handle is attached with torx screws.



The "semi-stainless" steel has excellent cutting power and holds its edge for a long time before it needs sharpening. After each use, wipe the blade and oil it to keep it corrosion free. And sharpen it on a stone or with the Solognac quick sharpener

Use

A big knife with a 15 cm blade that you can use for everything! Use it to cut branches for your hide or hack down deadwood as you go. The weight and length of the knife give it good cutting power. It can also be used for splitting, it loves it! The edge cuts into the wood nicely and you can strike it, it's made of solid stuff!

The finger choil and the width of the blade allow advanced grips for more precision, such as for making a feather stick.

Fire starter, Firesteel

We added a firesteel to the case—a ferrocerium rod, which you simply need to strike with a sharp-edged object to produce a large spark, which can then be used to light a fire. We designed a special notch on the top of the blade for this purpose. This turns it into a giant striker that gives off nice sparks. Caution, fire is dangerous. Check the regulations in force and abide by them. And leave nature as you found it.
