EXPERIENCE
PURE POWER: "Full speed"
The BOOST 900 by Wed'ze is a high performance ski, which remains very intuitive.
It is used to vary the radius thanks to its full length wood core construction. The vertical sidewalls improve edge grip on hard snow, and the slight "piste rocker" at the nose helps initiating turns.
Acceleration is also very good when exiting the turn.
In short, a high performance and accessible ski.
CONSTRUCTION
Woodcore Tec Side wall: vertical sidewalls that provide good edge grip on hard snow. The full length wood core ensures even deformation in turns, for a responsive, comfortable and stable ski. The slight 3D design on the tail of ski enables good deformation of the tail, for smooth steering in turns.
Base with a high molecular weight.
BINDINGS
Tyrolia brand bindings, PR 10 GW twin model in black.
Grip Walk compatible.
Din from 3 to 10.
Fits ski boots with a sole length between 261mm at 327mm.
DURABILITY
Plastic tail tip so that the ski does not get damaged when it is on the ground.
PREPARATION
Ready-to-use waxed and sharpened skis. Edge sharpened to 89°.
WHAT IS A CAMBER?
When placing a ski on the ground, its points of contact are found near the tip and tail, whereas the middle of the ski (under the bindings) is slightly raised. This is the camber. The longer and higher the camber, the greater the edge grip and more responsive the ski.
WHAT IS A ROCKER?
On a "rocker" ski, the tip, and sometimes the tail, comes off the ground sooner than with a cambered ski:this has the effect of moving the contact points toward the centre of the ski. The surface of the ski in contact with the snow is shortened and offers manoeuvrability and floatability in soft snow. When leaning into turns, the edge length offers more edge grip on hard snow. The longer the rocker, the better the handling of the ski. your skis. The shorter it is, the more traction you'll have.
SIDECUT
124/71/108 in 163 cm, radius = 11.8 m
CARE AND STORAGE ADVICE
After a long day of skiing, this is what you need to do to prolong the life of your skis:
* Wipe your edges with a rag at the end of the day to prevent rusting.
* Use ski ties between the skis to prevent the bases from rubbing against each other.
* Store your skis in a dry place, away from sunlight.
