To make it easier to fit your bumper to your racket, it helps to soften the bumper and plastic parts either by soaking them in hot water or by leaving them on a warm radiator. This will make them easier to put on. If you have an awl or punch tool, you can use it to correctly position the tubes of your grommets through your racket's frame.
