Precautions for electronic devices
Electronic devices are fragile and valuable. We recommend doubling up their protection by placing telephones inside waterproof pouches. Cameras can be placed in a small dry bag.
Ensure your bags are correctly closed and regularly check water resistance before your sessions using a paper towel.
OPENING - CLOSING
Operate the slider carefully. Do not pull at an angle, as this could reduce the waterproof performance of the zips or damage them.
Avoid over-stretching the top and bottom stops. Never force the two sides of the zip apart.
Do not fold or crush the zips. This could limit their performance.
Correctly close each zip, with the slider completely docked, to prevent water ingress
Fastening system
To guarantee a waterproof seal, make sure you completely close the TIZIP by firmly holding onto the handle opposite.
Leave some air in the bag. The bag should appear inflated once closed: this makes it more watertight and allows it to float if dropped in the water.
Before use, check the waterproof seal of the TIZIP, particularly for the presence of any dirt which could damage it.
Storage
We recommend storing the bag completely closed and perfectly flat.
Store the bag in a clean, dry place.
Avoid high temperatures and humidity levels.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Clean the zips using a soap solution and a fine brush. Do not use solvents or harsh detergents, as doing so could compromise the functionality of the zip.
Any dirt or debris, particularly between the teeth, could have a negative impact on the sealing lip and thereby limit its sealing performance.
Lubricant is provided:
once a year, thorough lubrication is crucial for the proper functioning of the zip.
