Lighting modes
The FORCLAZ BIVOUAC 500 USB head torch has 3 modes suited to every situation:
- Red fixed mode to stay discreet in a mountain refuge or preserve your night vision
- Eco mode (20lm) for map reading or bivouac use
- Power mode (100lm) for moving about a campsite
The dimmer allows you to adjust the power between 10 and 100 lumens by pressing the button
At the end of the battery life, the automatic reserve mode provides 30 min at 20 lumens
BATTERY TYPE
750mAh lithium-ion battery that is rechargeable with a microUSB cable (supplied) and compatible with external chargers and FORCLAZ solar panels.

Lighting technology
Constant LED lighting: lighting performance does not decrease as batteries lose charge.The battery life is calculated according to the FL1 standard.
For each mode, it corresponds to the maximum duration during which the lamp is capable of providing at least 10% of the maximum power of the mode concerned. This maximum power is measured between 30 seconds and 1 minute after it is switched on, with a full battery charge.
Optimal torchlight range
Maximum range of 25m in power mode.
The range is measured according to the FL1 standard: It corresponds to the maximum distance at which the torch provides a brightness of 0.25 lux (local measurement).
This brightness is equivalent to that provided by the moon in the best possible conditions.

The BIVOUAC 500 USB head torch can be locked (by holding it in the off position for a few seconds) to prevent accidental lighting in your bag.
HEADBAND
15 mm wide removable and washable headband. Composition: 70% polyester and 30% natural rubber for maximum comfort.
The two symmetrical buckles facilitate tightening.
The BIVOUAC 500 USB head torch can be adjusted to fit all head sizes, from children to adults, as well as mountain helmets.
Storage
The FORCLAZ BIVOUAC 500 USB head torch is delivered in a fabric pouch with its USB cable to protect and store it. The absence of any disposable packaging reduces its impact on the environment
