The ICE boot has been designed especially for use in ice climbing.
To optimally correspond to this use, we wanted to create a lightweight boot that delivers as much comfort as possible for the ankle, whilst also maintaining a good level of support and protection. Plus, you'll love the high degree of flexibility in the upper when you're tackling challenging climbs.
What are its technical specs?
- Waterproof TIZIP, comes with a lubricant
- Aluminised insole to improve thermal performances.
- Boot coated in TPU SMARTLITE for an excellent resistance:lightweight design ratio.
- Carbon rod built into the sole section to ensure a good level of stiffness
- The boot's toe and heel welts fit Simond crampons perfectly. Also compatible with models from other brands.
A great little extra!
The ICE shoe is sold with a 1 mm midsole, placed under the insole. By removing it, you increase the capacity of the shoe by a half-size.
