In lowlands with no cover or in mountainous terrain from one peak to another: maximum 10 km range on completely open terrain, 4 km in environments with mixed vegetation, and 2 km in hilly forests
To maximise the transmission range, ensure there are as few obstacles as possible (including users) on an imaginary line between 2 devices
