The player's position: another key factor in choosing a boot.
"Forward" players in positions 1 to 8 tend to choose this type of stud all year round to meet the needs of their position. The type of terrain is not the only factor in this choice. For forward players, their needs for traction, particularly during the toe-off phase in scrums, require this type of sole. However, for the earliest youth categories, at least up to age 8, we recommend choosing a moulded sole.
Flexibility and customisation.
The sole is made of 6 universal interchangeable screw-on studs. This allows you to change the height of the studs based on the pitch. If the ground is very soft, you can equip your boots with "iron" studs in sizes 15 or 18 mm, for instance. As for customisation, you can put your name on your shoe thanks to the marking workshop in your Decathlon store.
Our care advice.
We recommend letting your shoes dry flat in a dry and well-ventilated place. The upper is not made of leather, which makes it easier to care for: no need for greasing. After training and matches, wash and brush your boots under running water to remove traces of soil and mud.
