100% UV Protection
Because UV rays are harmful to eyes, all our goggles are certified 100% ANTI UV by the EN 174 standard. Goggles are the best protection solution as they perfectly enclose the eyes preventing any direct or reflected UV light from entering
Anti-fogging performance
The "PERFORMANCE" anti-fogging system is a double lens with a treatment on the inside combined with a ventilation system on the frame that enables air to circulate inside the ski goggles.
For good ventilation inside your goggles, do not obstruct these air vents (with a neck warmer for example.
Do not rub inner surface of lens but dab it carefully in order to preserve the anti-fogging treatment for as long as possible.
Ventilated double lens
Goggle design with double ventilated lens to limit the formation of fogging. Indeed, the air that is trapped between the two lenses creates a layer of thermal insulation. Thanks to this, the thermal shock between the inside and the outside of the goggles is lower and fogging slows down on the goggle lens .The inner lens also has an anti-fogging treatment and is ventilated with air vents that provide a good air flow.
Cylindrical lens
Cylindrical double lens made of highly shock resistant injected polycarbonate for the outer lens and polycarbonate with an ETINT LCD system for the inner lens.
Compatibility with a ski helmet
All Wedze ski goggles are designed to fit perfectly with Wedze ski helmets.
Compatibility with prescription glasses
The ETINT ski goggles can be worn with 130 mm wide glasses. The foam on the sides and the shape of the goggle skirt leaves a passage for each temple.
Strap
40 mm-wide Polyamide, Polyester and rubber elastic, non-slip silicone strap
Case made of microfibre and a thermocompressed material
Remember to protect the goggles – the lens in particular – from scratches before and after use by using the Wed'ze microfibre case. This case also cleans lenses and the material is perfect for looking after them without causing scratches.
The thermo-compressed case is ideal for storing your goggles and protecting them from crushing in your backpack while skiing.
ETINT technology
The innovative ETINT technology is an electrophotochromic LCD lens that can switch from a clear tint to a dark tint depending on the brightness of the ambient light, either automatically or with the press of a button. In fine or bad weather, you will have good visibility.
The charging time, with a simple USB cable, is 1 hour for 16 hours of battery life.
To activate the automatic function, press the button for 3 seconds.
EN 174 Standard
The EN 174 standard is a European standard applicable to goggles used for eye protection when downhill skiing or similar activities such as snowboarding.
Avoiding condensation
Moisture causes fogging. You must therefore make sure that the foam does not get damp, e.g. by placing the goggles on a wet helmet or a hat. Falling face down in the snow can also cause your goggles to fog up. This is therefore why you must correctly dry your ski goggles overnight to get rid of all traces of humidity and use perfectly dry goggles the following day.
